Mrs. Lisa Charles

Montessori Early Learning Center Aide

Education:  I attended UNC with a major in psychology and special education.  I have been working in preschool since 2009 and Gethsemane since 2016.

Why do you love teaching?  I chose preschool because of the innocence and wonderment in their eyes and in their expressions of things we adults sometimes take for granted, and excitement as they learn to love learning.

Favorite Bible Verse   Philippians 4:6-7  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts ad your minds in Christ Jesus.

This reminds me that Jesus is always in control, even when life feels out of it, to trust in Him always.
